Church holds seminar

The Health Ministries Department of the Cayman Islands Conference of Seventh-day Adventists sponsored a Pastoral HIV/AIDS Awareness & Training Seminar April 29-May1 in concert with the Health Ministries Department of West Indies Union.

Dr. Eli Honore, Health Ministries Director, Inter-American Division headed the list of church officials in attendance. Meanwhile, Mr. Gilbert McLean, Minister of Health, Agriculture and Aviation headed the list of governmental officials in attendance.

The presenters included the following: Dr. Kiran Kumar, Director, Public, Health Services Authority; Ms. Andrea Bryan, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Cayman Islands Government; Nurse Pauline French, Sexual Health Coordinator, Health Services Authority; Mrs. Yvonne Campbell, Founder, Aids Prevention Campaign; Elder Lloyd Campbell, Director, APEC; Mr. Jennison Nunez, president, Cayman Aids Foundation, Dr. Wendell McMillan, Health Ministries Director, WIU and Mrs. Annie Kay Price, Health Ministries Director, CICSDA.
