Assistance is available for parents in the upcoming school year if they experiencing financial difficulty in sending their children to pre-school.
Application forms are available from any pre-school or from the Education Department, Third Floor, Royal Plaza.
Parents are to select the pre-school they wish their child to attend and apply for assistance to meet the cost of that pre-school, explained a Government press release.
Children eligible to receive assistance this academic year are those born between 1 February 2001, and 31 January 2002, as these are children who will be eligible to attend primary school in September 2006.
Forms should be submitted to the Education Officer for Pre-Schools at the Education Department no later than Friday, 15 July.
Application forms will not be accepted after this date and forms should have all required documents attached or they will not be processed.
