George Town Sports Club took the title of 2005 national basketball champions on Sunday night.
In an exciting game, GTSC overcame Wendy’s Tarheels 97-89 to with the decider of a three match series which had previously been tied 1-1. Top scorers for George Town were George Ebanks (23 points) and Jason Campbell (14). Leading the scorers for Wendy’s was Dwight O’Garra with 26 points.
