The CIFA Annual Youth Football Rally originally scheduled for 4 June has been rescheduled for Saturday, 2 July at the T.E. McField ‘Annex’ venue.
The event had been postponed earlier after forecasts of rain had been made for the previously selected date.
National Football Coach and chief organizer Marcos Tinoco says the children are still excited, anxiously looking forward to the event.
The day will proceed as previously scheduled, kicking off at 8am, followed by the Boy’s U12 rally at 10:15am, the opening ceremony and parade contest.
The Minister of Youth & Sports and the CIFA president are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
Event Schedule:
8am to 10:15am: Boys U-12 rally; 2 hrs., 15 min.
10:15am to 11am: parade contest and opening ceremony; 45 min.
11am to 12:30pm: Girls U-12 rally; 1.5 hrs.
12:30pm to 1pm: Boys U-12 rally final and award; 30 mins.
1pm to 1:30pm: Girls U-12 rally final and award; 30 mins.
1:30pm to 2pm: Women’s National Team exhibition game; 30 mins.
