Judge’s bill OK’d

A bill for a law to amend the Judges’ Emoluments and Allowances Law was passed in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday afternoon.

The bill amends the 1997 law in order to provide that pensions payable to judges in Cayman shall be administered by the Public Service Pensions Board.

Clause two provides that the Governor shall by order regulate the Board’s administration of judges’ pensions.
