Cayman males, the hunt is on for a new Mr. Cayman.
Elite Production is inviting all Caymanian males between the ages of 15 and 27-years-old to participate in its Mr. Cayman Islands 2005 pageant.
The winner will receive a prize package of $6,000 and a trip to South Africa.
First runner up will receive $5,000 and trip to Jamaica and second runner-up $2,000 and trip to China.
The contest will be held Saturday, 29 October, at a (venue yet to be selected).
‘The Mr. Cayman title genuinely does open many doors,’ said Daniel Bodden a previous title holder.
‘It has been a passion of mine since I was six-years-old, to be a model and represent my country as an ambassador.
‘In April of 2000, entering Mr. Cayman Male Hunt gave me a lot of self confidence, a chance to be a role model to young people and also a lot to look forward to,’ said Daniel.
According to Daniel, his expertise in the pageantry world has earned him positions director of the Miss Cayman Super Model, Hawaiian Tropic Beauty Pageant Director and Miss Cayman Tourism World pageant consultant.
With less than two months before he gives up his title and crown, Mr. Tourism, Daniel Bodden, will be missed from the spotlight by his Cayman fans.
Those who have met Daniel know he is no stranger to the catwalk. His light-hearted way of expressing himself to judges and capturing the hearts of audiences has won him the titles of Cayman Top Male Model, Runway Model and the Mr. Cayman Tourism World.
His flair and enthusiasm has even caught the attention of Hip Hop magazine and black entertainment television station BET.
