The Cayman Islands office of the international offshore law firm Conyers Dill & Pearman has announced its sponsorship of Mr. Noel Christopher Webb in his pursuit of a career in the legal profession.
Mr. Webb, who holds a Bachelors degree in Economics, graduated in May from the University of Liverpool at the Cayman Islands Law School, where he received a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree (LLB) and has been accepted into the College of Law of England and Wales in London to pursue the Legal Practice Course.
Mr. Webb obtained his LLB by studying part-time while working as a Listing Executive at the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange (CSX). Prior to this he worked as an Economist at the Economics and Statistics Office of the Cayman Islands Government. Upon completion of the Legal Practice Course Mr. Webb intends to embark on an articles of clerkship with the goal of becoming a qualified attorney in the Cayman Islands.
Mr. Webb stated that he wanted to work for a firm that with a diversified international practice and that maintains an atmosphere of mutual respect and support with its clients and employees. Mr. Webb also said; ‘I believe that the best lawyers are those who can serve their clients and respond to the needs of the society in which they live.’
