Long drive contest

Big prizes are on offer for golfers who come out on top in a long driving competition on Sunday, 28 August.

Up for grabs are five prizes of an all expenses paid trip to Caymanas G.C., Kingston, Jamaica from 22 to 24 September to represent the Cayman Islands in two internationally televised events – the Caribbean and the World Amateur Long Driving Championships. The prizes are in line for the men’s first, second and third place finishers, the senior man (50+) winner and the lady winner. The competition starts at 4pm from the first tee at Britannia. The $10 entry fee includes two beers and it is three drives for $20 and five drives for $30.

Entry is open to all. Those who make the representative teams must be Cayman Islands Golf Association members.
