Stingray Swim Club is providing a free opportunity to learn about swim officiating, followed by on-deck assessment and advice, during this Saturday’s Cayman Airways Sprint Meet. ‘Swim meets are a lot more fun and interesting when you ‘work’ them, much more so than sitting in the stands’, said veteran swim parent Sara Mackay. ‘It’s well worth an hour to learn more about this great sport.’
Florida Swim Official Beth Tilman, (with lots of Cayman ties) will be conducting the classes.
The Cayman Airways Sprint Meet and the Mike Lockwood Memorial Pirates Week Meet (Nov 3-6) will be fully officiated meets. For more information, contact [email protected]

3:15-4:15pm Timer & Intro to Stroke + Turn Judge
5:30-6:30pm Stroke & Turn Judge
Fri Oct 14
1-2:15pm Stroke & Turn Judge
4-5:30pm Starter & Referee
Light refreshments and drinks will be provided for attendees.
