Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited recently presented a cheque for $1,000 to John Gray High School’s recycling club, the John Gray Recyclers. The donation was given as part of the Bank’s ongoing commitment to the community, said a company press release.

‘Butterfield Bank is pleased to be able to aid the Recyclers with the important work that they are doing in Cayman,’ noted Marketing Manager Karin Frewin.
‘We are actively working to identify needs in the community and our donation is just one of the ways in which we are helping to take an active part in improving the environment of the Islands.’
Receiving the cheque Kamala Murugesu commented, ‘The John Gray High School Recyclers are extremely grateful to Butterfield Bank for their sponsorship. The funds will be used to help preserve the natural heritage of the Cayman Islands under our Seacology Agape Park Project. With this project our aim is to have a park enriched with trees and plants unique to our islands.’
The John Gray Recyclers work to preserve the environment of the Cayman Islands as well as around the world.
