Wood named Player of the Month

Thomas Wood, 23, who has played competitive football for Bodden Town since his primary school days, was unanimously voted CIFA Cayman Airways Player of the Month for February 2006.

He has played in most of Bodden Town Football Club’s sixteen matches to date and has scored two goals for his team.

Bodden Town Football Club President, Mark Scotland, was especially proud of Woods’ achievement, ‘Congratulations to Thomas, at 23 he is one of the oldest players on our team this season. He has shown leadership to the younger players particularly through his discipline on the field. Thanks also to CIFA and Cayman Airways for their recognition of the Players of the Month.’

Thomas who was elated about being selected player of the Month for February expressed his deep appreciation to Cayman Airways Manager of US and International Sales Don Hicks and said that he already had plans for his free ticket.

Thomas who was presented with his free ticket to any Cayman Airways destination on March 15th was also presented a trophy for his outstanding performance.
