Police found 105lbs of ganja – which carries a street value of more than $460,000 – on Thursday.
The drugs were found after officers carried out a search of an area off Linford Pierson Highway following reports of suspicious behaviour.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing, said an RCIP press release.
This find follows the seizure of a total of 52 pounds of ganja during the month of March.
Anyone who has information relating to the importation, supply or consumption of drugs is asked to contact either George Town Police station on 949-4222 or Crimestoppers on 800 TIPS. Callers to Crimestoppers could be entitled to a cash reward should their information lead to a conviction.
