Police have released the name of the man who was found dead in East End on 11 April.
He was Leroy Edward Watson, 77, of East End.
Mr. Watson’s body was found in the sea by a member of the public at around 3.40pm in the vicinity of Pirates Cove.
His empty fishing boat was found nearby.
An investigation into the man’s death is continuing.
An investigation has been launched following an incident which saw a firearm discharged in the Bodden Town district last week.
The 911 Emergency Communications Centre received a call at approximately 9.35pm on Thursday, 13 April from a man claiming that shots had been fired in the direction of him and his property in Northward Road.
The victim says he was outside the front of the house when he heard two loud explosions. He turned and saw a man holding a small handgun. He says he then ran to hide and two more shots were fired.
The offender is described as: 5ft. 9in. tall with fair skin and wearing what appeared to be a stocking on his face. He was dressed in a dark blue jacket and jeans.
The complainant called 911 and the offender escaped in an unknown vehicle along Northward Road heading out of Northward.
The victim was unhurt in the incident.
