26 year old Brian Lewis of East End United FC has been unanimously voted CIFA Cayman Airways Player of the Month for March 2006.
In recognition of his outstanding performance Brian was presented with an airline ticket courtesy of Cayman Airways to any of their 12 destinations and a trophy.
East End’s Head Coach Thiago Cunha values Brian as an excellent player who demonstrates discipline and dedication. He said that Lewis is one of East End’s outstanding players who, along with Derron Golaub and Triston McField, could be credited for many of East End’s goals this season.
Recently returning from a hamstring injury Brian expressed great appreciation towards his coach for his belief and confidence in his abilities. ‘Coach believed in me all the way and gave me opportunities to keep playing. Being awarded Player of the Month just encourages me to work even harder.’
Brian who has been playing football for nearly 20 years has spent the last two as a forward for East End United.
