KPMG scholarship awarded

Any young person starting university is bound to feel a little nervous but for Chris Glasgow it is a mixture of excitement and comfort to know that a job awaits him when he returns.

Chris is due to attend the Florida International University this month under the KPMG scholarship programme.

Having already spent one year with the firm, Chris will return to KPMG during the holidays to continue with his training in the accountancy profession.

‘I’m a little anxious about what awaits me on those new pastures but excited as well,’ Chris said. ‘There are always mixed feelings about these situations. I want to be excited about going to Florida to further my education for everything it has to offer, but I’m a little nervous as I’m leaving my home.’

KPMG Partner, Sheenah Hislop-DaCosta says ‘we wish Chris all the best at university and look forward to his return.’
