Cayman Airways is advising the public that based on the projected path of Tropical Storm Ernesto to Florida, change fees/penalties are being waived for travel involving Cayman Airways flights to/from Florida destinations (Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and Orlando) scheduled up to this Friday 1 September. However, only one change per ticket is permitted.
‘The previous change fee waiver for all Cayman Airways flights to all destinations is no longer effective, and the waiver is now limited to Florida flights only,’ says a press release from the national flag carrier.
Cayman Airways plans to operate its normal schedule and will continue to monitor the progress of Tropical Storm Ernesto. Cayman Airways will advise of any operations updates or schedule changes as further details become available, said the release.
Due to the uncertainty of the weather situation for the latest and most accurate flight information passengers are advised to check the Cayman Airways website at www.caymanairways.com or contact the Cayman Airways Reservations Department on 949-2311.
