Three people are in police custody after officers from West Bay located a large amount of ganja in the Garvin Road area in the early hours of Thursday morning.
At midnight, the officers on patrol located around 42lbs of ganja in two small suitcases and two plastic bags.
Following investigations a woman, aged 18, and two men, aged 26 and 19, were arrested for various drugs offences.
Area Commander Chief Inspector Richard Simms said: ‘I am extremely pleased with these results. We will remain relentless and let this be a warning to all involved in the use and supply of drugs in the West Bay area. If we do not get you today, we will get you
tomorrow. It is only a matter of time.’
