Elite SC’s center midfielder Derrin Ebanks was voted CIFA Gatorade Player of the Week.

Derrin has been playing with Elite SC for five years, and has scored one goal this season, in which has been considered one of the plays of the season. His Coach, Mr. Gregory Ebanks noted that ‘Derrin is a very skillful Footballer; he thrills me to death when he is in shape. He is technically sound, and he plays a very entertaining style of football, very patient, calm and has a collective knowledge of the game. His skills add on to the team tremendously. His dedication to the sport has set a remarkable standard of play that entitles him to participate at the national level, or to further his education through the sport. During my coaching for the last 5 years I have seen Derrin’s level developed and progressed greatly. I must say also that he is very respectful, disciplined and he has a good understanding towards sports, on and off the field’.

Derrin is a Caymanian who is currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management at the University College of the Cayman Islands. His hobbies are football, basketball, traveling and going to the beach.
