Michael Johnson voted CIFA Player of the Week

16 year-old defender/midfielder Michael Johnson of Future SC was unanimously voted CIFA Gatorade Player of the Week for the week of October 29th to November 04th 2006 for his outstanding performance during the week.

Michael has been playing with Future SC ever since he started Grade Three, and has scored two goals this season. His Coach, Mr. Roy ‘Hutta’ Ebanks said that ‘Michael is a very dedicated and disciplined Footballer, and also a straight A student, extremely bright academically. All of this qualities show on the field. He has a tremendous mind for playing the game. He is a player that any coach would dream to have. I feel honored for this nomination and this is a way to show that our development program is proving fruitful’.

Michael is a Caymanian who is currently in year 12 at John Gray High School, looking forward to take his A Level examinations next year. His hobbies are football, watching TV and reading.
