Armed robbery witnesses sought

Detectives investigating an armed robbery in West Bay are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

At approximately 8.30pm on Saturday the 911 Emergency Communications Centre received reports of a robbery that had taken place at Four L’s Grocery Store, also known as Lincoln’s, on Northwest Point Road.

The complainant stated that a man had entered the store with a gun and demanded cash from the female server. Two other men were in the store at the time of the incident.

The offender made off from the store with a small amount of cash and no one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as:

• Brown complexion

• Approximately 5ft 9ins tall

• Medium build

• Wearing a long sleeved black and red plaid shirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap.

He was also wearing a tam, which was partially covering his face however; some hair containing a small amount of grey could be seen.

Anyone who saw this man in the area at the time of the incident or who recognises the description should contact West Bay CID on 949-3999 or call Crime Stoppers on 800-8477 (TIPS). All persons calling crime stoppers remain anonymous, and are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000, should their information lead to an arrest or recovery of property/drugs.
