The Cayman Islands Football Association is reminding member-clubs that the deadline for submitting reports of their 2006 annual general meeting is Tuesday, 6 March.
CIFA’s General Secretary Bruce Blake has pointed out that Article II of the organisation’s Articles of Association outlines submission of AGM reports as one of the requirements for each club in order to retain full membership and participate in all activities of the football association.
Mr Blake said all member-clubs are subject to terms and conditions which require that they submit the following documents to CIFA:
An up-to-date copy of the club’s constitution, with any subsequent changes to the club’s constitution forwarded to CIFA immediately upon such change; and
A copy of the minutes of the club’s 2006 annual general meeting. Each club should be holding annual general meetings with a copy of the minutes of the meeting forwarded to CIFA. Such annual general meetings should include, at a minimum: presentation of the club’s annual report; election of officers in accordance with the club’s constitution; and presentation of the clubs financial statements.
