The RCIPS is urging the community of Palm Dale, Crew Road, to come out and support a team effort to clean up their neighbourhood.
On Saturday, 31 March, the RCIPS and members of the public will be picking up litter and garbage from the Palm Dale area in an effort to raise the quality of life for the people living there, said a press release.
Neighbourhood Policing Officer PC Melissa Warren has been working with the Department of Environmental Health over the past few months to clean up the area but there is still some work to be done.
It is hoped residents will come out and support the effort to make the area an even nicer place to live. Refuse bags and gloves will be provided to all those who turn out to show their support.
Residents and media are urged to meet at the junction of Success Circle, on the Green at 10am. Anyone wanting more information should contact PC Melissa Warren on 925-2536.
