Cubans go on

Twenty-two Cuban migrants – 20 men and two women – continued their journey early Friday afternoon after arriving in a vessel earlier that day at Creek Dock on Cayman Brac.

After they were officially informed of Cayman’s immigration policy regarding illegal migrants, the group members opted to continue their journey, Immigration Department officials said.

Immigration officers then monitored the group, as they departed in their vessel. They were last seen at about 12.15pm Friday off the West End point of Cayman Brac, heading southwest.
