Dinner, auction for the Blues

The inaugural Blue Iguana Dinner and Auction event will be held Friday, 29 June, at Cobalt Coast Resort, West Bay.

The benefit dinner aims to raise awareness of the Blue Iguana as an endangered species and all proceeds of the event will be donated to the Blue Iguana Recovery Programme of the National Trust for The Cayman Islands.

Tickets are CI$100 and available from the National Trust for The Cayman Islands (949-0121) or from Cobalt Coast Resort (946-5656). Seating is limited. Purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.

The evening’s entertainment will begin with a champagne reception and blues band, followed by a four-course dinner and a live auction hosted by world-renowned artist, Ron ‘Rogest’ Steven. Upon arrival, guests will be given a signed print of the original ‘Baby Blue’ by Rogest and will have the opportunity to bid the original artwork which will be on display throughout the evening. In support of the Blue Iguana Recovery Programme, Rogest has donated the original ‘Baby Blue’ painting toward the auction.
