Cuban migrants move on

A group of 12 Cuban migrants, who arrived in Cayman Brac around 6.30am Sunday, opted to continue their journey.

The vessel with the 12 migrants – 11 males and one female – was spotted in the vicinity of the Canal Dock, South Side, Cayman Brac. The group, comprising three migrants who were previously repatriated, requested to be allowed to repair their vessel and depart.

Immigration Department officers monitored the migrants as they departed at about 9.30am the same day they arrived.
