BREAKING NEWS: Police officer charged

The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service has charged a police officer with 11counts of dishonestly obtaining a money transfer, one count of obtaining property by deception and 12 alternate counts of theft.

Richard Martin Hanna, 29, of Frank Sound Road, appeared before Magistrate Margaret Ramsey Hale this morning. PC Hanna was suspended from duty Tuesday.

An investigation is still ongoing and detectives from the Financial Crime Unit would like to hear from anyone who thinks they may have information in relation to this case.
