There is still no official word on the status of Boatswain’s Beach Managing Director Ken Hydes.
As of Thursday, however, Mr. Hydes was still in the office at Boatswain’s Beach.
For some weeks the Caymanian Compass has been trying to confirm if Mr. Hydes has resigned from his post, but has been unable to.
Repeated calls to Chairman of the Board Joel Walton and Boatswain’s Beach CEO Joey Ebanks for information have seen the officials remain mum on the issue.
Mr. Hydes also said ‘no comment’ when asked about his future at Boatswain’s Beach.
Yesterday morning Mr. Walton said he could not comment on the situation.
However, he did note that he is in discussions with Mr. Hydes and a press release on the issue will be forthcoming.
Some weeks back Minister for Tourism Charles Clifford also said he had no comment to make on the issue.
