Former Senior Cabin Crew member Rina Ebanks has been appointed Manager Corporate Security and Cargo Quality Assurance at Cayman Airways.
Mrs. Ebanks, who has been working with Cayman Airways for the past seven years, is now in charge of the day to day security operations, and will oversee the quality assurance programme of the cargo business, said a press release.
Mrs. Ebanks says, ‘I am very excited about this new role and I look forward to making a positive impact on the overall operations of Cayman Airways. As a Caymanian working at our national airline, I am committed to doing my best to ensure that we continue to grow into an airline what we can all be proud of.’
Before joining Cayman Airways, Mrs. Ebanks was a Sergeant in the Criminal Investigation Division of the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service. In that role she was in charge of liaising with Interpol, the FBI, and other international law enforcement organisations.
Mrs. Ebanks was regional head of the Crime Stoppers International programme and was also the co-ordinator of the Cayman Crime Stoppers programme and a member of the local implementation team.
