Santa Claus arrives Saturday

Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman will host its 28th annual Santa Claus Landing Saturday, 1 December.

This day would not be possible without the financial support of CUC, the media support of Caymanian Compass, Cayman 27, Cayman Observer andCayman Net News, along with additional donations by Mikes Ice, the Red Cross and of course Cayman Island Helicopters for bringing Santa to our island.

Santa will be arriving by helicopter and will make his way over to the Airport Park across from Fosters Food Fair for 2pm. Santa and his helpers will be handing out gifts to the children. The children’s event will also include complimentary hotdogs, popcorn, snow cones, and beverages along with many children’s activities such as a bouncing castle, face painting, balloon characters, and much more.

This annual has become one of Kiwanis’ major community projects. Last year’s landing was a great success, with over 700 toys being distributed to the children.

Kiwanis raises funds to support community other related projects and the focus of the Kiwanis Club of Grand Cayman is Young Children Priority One. Kiwanian’s encourage you to come out with your children and join in the Christmas cheer.
