Boatswain’s Beach is reaching out to families this weekend with a slate of Easter traditions, with new and exciting ways for you to enjoy the long holiday weekend.
This Saturday, Boatswain’s Beach presents an Easter Egg Hunt led by its mascots and a special Easter Bunny who will hide Easter eggs throughout the park. The fun begins from 12 noon and goes on until 8pm.
This special event appeals to families and kids in particular. Those aged 10 and under will be admitted for free. The regular admission price of only $10 applies to all residents.
In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, patrons will also get to play the Easter Guessing Game, for a chance to win a family prize for a return trip to Boatswain’s Beach.
Other activities for Easter Day include Bunny Face Painting, Bunny Hop Race, Storytelling and Photo Opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
Children attending this weekend’s Easter activities will receive a Bunny Punch Card upon arrival. The card will be punched when they participate in each activity and at the end of the day will be entered into a raffle. The raffle will be drawn at 5pm and children must be present to win.
The Easter adventure continues with all the facilities of the park open on Saturday and throughout the holiday weekend until 10pm, including swimming at the Breaker’s Lagoon, with lifeguards on duty.
Patrons can dine at Schooner’s Bar and Grill or enjoy BBQ by the pool from Budgie’s Snack Shack from 12noon to 5pm.
