The man shot to death in West Bay Friday nigh has been identified as 23-year-old Mark Anthony Jefferson from West Bay.
A second man injured in the shooting remains in hospital having undergone surgery for his injuries. His condition is said to be non life threatening.
A team of detectives is following up a number of leads in relation to shooting and encourages anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward.

All persons calling Crime Stoppers remain anonymous, and are eligible for a reward of up to $1000, should their information lead to an arrest or recovery of property/drugs.
The 911 Emergency Communications Centre received a call from a member of the public around midnight reporting that an incident had occurred on Birch Tree Hill Road, in the vicinity of Kelly’s bar.
Police and medics responded and found Mark lying in the street not far from the bar.
A second man, aged 20, was treated at the scene for wounds to his arm and taken to hospital. Scenes of Crime officers are processing the scene. A number of spent shells have been recovered but no weapon has been located. A 19-year-old is assisting police with their enquiries.
