Flight crew ready for trip down Memory Lane

Welcome aboard Cayman Airways Flight Crew Reunion destined down Memory Lane.

A special reunion for past and present pilots and flight attendants of Cayman Airways takes place this coming 11 November.

Hosted by the committee for Cayman Airways’ Flight Crew Alumni Reunion, it will be the first annual such reunion for past and present pilots and flight attendants of the national flag carrier and is part of the celebrations of the national airline’s 40th birthday.

After many years of talking about it, Committee Co-Chairwoman, Rose Gadsby, finally took control and rounded up a group of current and ex-flight crew members to start the ball rolling, said a press release.

The result is a dynamic, eclectic unit capable of bringing it all together for one memorable night of reminiscing and entertainment.

The committee is diligently seeking out all those that previously worked as a flight crew member for Cayman Airways and asking that they contact Chelsea Rivers at [email protected] to be added to the invitation list.

Or visit the event’s special website www.flightattendants.myevent.com to register your attendance, write in the Guest Book, post photos and keep updated on the planning process.

Tickets are being sold to finance the event and are available from any of the committee members for CI$100 each, or can be purchased online at the official reunion website for US$135.

The committee is also looking for old photos of flight crew (pilots and/or flight attendants), on and off the planes. People with access to photos are being asked to contact Betty Ann Scott at [email protected] to arrange collection. (All photos will be returned to each rightful owner).

The invitation extends to those past employees who now reside overseas also.

So, what are you waiting for? Spread the word, register your attendance and make plans to be there to see all of your old colleagues, meet the new ones and reminisce the good old days.
