Funds to assist persons in need in Cuba and Haiti following the devastation by hurricanes are being collected by the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.
All sums raised will be sent to the Church’s partners in the two countries, which will help also ensure proper distribution to the neediest.
Donations (marked for this purpose) may be made to any United Church in any District of Grand Cayman or at the offices of the Cayman Prep and High School or by mailing cheques to the Church at P O Box 1700 Grand Cayman KY1-1109.
Cheques should be made payable to the ‘United Church Council.’
We encourage the public to give generously to this and the other initiatives under way in Cayman to help alleviate the devastation in our neighbouring countries, as we share God’s love and generous grace, states a press release from the Church.
