Darts in Vivian’s memory

The Vivian Rankine Memorial Darts Tournament is all set to kick off once again.

All darts players and darts enthusiast are asked to come out to the Corner Pocket, located in the Allis tar Towers North Sound Way on September 20 and 21, beginning at 2:30pm on the first day, and 1:30pm on the second day.

Early registration is recommended and can be done at Corner Pocket during business hours.

Trophies and other prizes will be awarded. A free T-Shirt sponsored by Cable & Wireless the tournament’s main sponsor, will be given to all registering for the tournament which will cost CI$25 for both days.

Funds raised will go towards a scholarship fund for Vivian’s son George.

He opened the last tournament throwing a perfect bullseye. George is expected to be in attendance at some point during the two days of the tournament.

Vivian Rankine was a dedicated member of Royal Cayman Islands Police Service who died in 1998 and was a great lover of darts amongst other sports.
