Budding chefs will want to take note of an upcoming cooking class that offers a genuine taste of Italy.
Chef Ercole Musso of The Post Restaurant and Bar will be giving a hands-on Italian cooking class on Tuesday, 28 October from 5:30pm to 7pm at the West Shore Shopping Centre eatery.
What’s Hot magazine and Jacques Scott Fine Wines are hosting the evening, which will include sampling of wines, courtesy of Jacques Scott. After Chef Ercole’s cooking class, participants will get to taste all the dishes prepared that evening.
Chef Ercole will demonstrate how to cook a number of dishes from his current menu – including Gnocchi with lobster and crab meat; Risotto Pescatori; Cannelloni with ricotta and spinach; and Salmon Post. For those who want to try making these dishes at home, the recipes are included in the October issue of What’s Hot.
The cooking class is limited to 25 people, with registration on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $45.
