Latinos edge out Elite

The Cayman Islands Football Association Premier League competition made its debut on Sunday evening with four games.

Elite clipped Latinos 1-0 while Tigers defeated Roma 1-0 at the newly reopened Ed Bush playing field.

At the Annex Sunset took the three points from Future with a 1-0 victory and rivals George Town and Scholars shared the points by drawing 0-0.

Games continue on Sunday at these two venues. The competition which has no official sponsor is the highest level of football to be played on the islands at this time. The next level of football, the First Division competition is set to start soon.
