The partners of Maples and Calder have donated US$100,000 to the National Recovery Fund to assist with recovery efforts in Cayman Brac following Hurricane Paloma.
Joint managing partner, Julian Reddyhough, said, “Our thoughts are with the residents of Cayman Brac as they struggle to return some sort of normality to their lives. We remember vividly the effects on Grand Cayman of Hurricane Ivan in 2004 and can sympathise with the plight of our neighbours on the Brac.”
Maples and Calder also sent its own hurricane supplies and portable generator to the Brac on last weekend’s relief barge from George Town.
