Alphasoft hooks up Triple C

Alphasoft Ltd. has recently donated a series of computer equipment to Triple C School.

The donation included 9 desktop computers, 2 computer servers, a 48-port switch, a colour laser printer, over two hundred Microsoft Exchange, Windows Vista Business and Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2007 licenses, and 20 computer tables.

This donation was only the first of a series:

Over the next two years, Alphasoft will also donate 30 additional computers and monitors to Triple C School.

The equipment donated this year is being used primarily in the administration offices.

The following donations, however, will go directly to provide updated equipment for the Triple C students.

‘The students of today are the businesspeople of tomorrow, and a strong background in IT with access to state-of-the-art machines is now essential for future success in the corporate world,’ said Managing Director of Alphasoft, Tony Cleaver.

‘Alphasoft Ltd. is therefore happy to continue its commitment to supporting local educational institutions by donating IT equipment and desks to Triple C School through 2010,’ he said.

Alphasoft approached the school to offer their donation.

‘It was unsolicited,’ said Guidance Counsellor and former Principal, Marjorie Ebanks.

‘It’s incredible. It’s a huge donation as far as I’m concerned,’ she said.

The donation will help to ensure that Triple C School is able to provide quality education for its students.
