I am finally settling down in Canada and it is cold!!
I was amazed at the letters that were sent on my behalf. Thank you for your support. It is great to know that people care and understand what I am going through.
It is very hard re-locating after eight and a half years but I will survive because I count the days until I return to Cayman.
Though everything never turned out how I wanted it to I would also like to thank everyone that went out of their way to help me: Ed Chisholm, Roger Ponce, James Bovell, Kim Lund, Kurt Christian and many more.
I would also like to thank those at the Immigration Office that were actually polite and helpful, especially the lady on the phone the day I was informed that my permit was denied…she was very empathetic.
I really hope to be back as soon as possible and look forward to getting back ‘home’ to my friends and surrogate family on Cayman…please don’t forget me.
