Sunset and Future have taken the lead in the Simon Robshaw Caytech Cayman Islands Football Association 2008-2009 season Senior Women’s League which kicked off last Saturday.
Sunset defeated Scholars International 1-0 with a goal scored by Zoenief Walker while Future beat Elite 2-1. The goal scorers for Future were Kimberly Rivers and Monique Roberts. Telicia Ebanks netted for Elite.
Future faces Scholars International this Saturday at the Ed Bush Stadium at 5:00pm while Sunset takes on last season’s champions Women United at 7:00pm.
Five teams participates in this season’s competition namely Women’s United, Scholars International, Sunset, Future and Elite.
