Killing habitats

I am writing strongly to disagree about the fact that the National Roads Authority is planning to build a road straight through the Mastic Trail.

I understand that there will be less traffic and people will get to where they want faster, but if the National Roads Authority build a road through the Mastic Trail you’ll be crushing all the animals’ homes and habitat.

Here are some reasons I disagree with building a road through the Mastic Trail: you’ll kill the endemic wildlife here in Cayman, the tree will be knocked down so there will be no food for the animals and furthermore the Mastic Trail is part of Cayman’s history.

I hope you change your mind about building the road.
