Women’s United battle

Future SC takes on Women’s United in the Cayman Islands Football Association (CIFA) 2008-2009 Under 17 FA Cup finals on Ash Wednesday 25 February at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town at 4:30pm.

This game will be the curtain-raiser before the Elite-Scholars International clash in the finals of the 2008-2009 CIFA Digicel Knock-Out finals scheduled for that same evening at 7:00pm.

According to Bobby McLaren, coach of the Women’s United team, Future has always been a good team and he expects a great game.

‘I always expect a tough competition from Future SC; they are a hard playing team with a unit of players with outstanding football potentials. My team plays well under pressuring situations.

‘In my opinion I think on Ash Wednesday it will come down to which team wants the win most. Overall this game will be worth watching,’ McLaren stated.

Unfortunately there were no comments received from neither of the two officials contacted on the Future coaching team.

However, this game will be very interesting to watch as both teams are performing exceptionally well since the start of the competition and both has their eyes set on the title.

Can the Olsen Bush coached team (Future) pull off this win or will the Bobby McLaren coached team (Women’s United) take this title?
