More drama

Tonight should see no shortage of tense games.

Based on matches seen earlier this week the Field of Dreams might see action go well into the night.

The Winter Adult Co-Ed Softball League playoffs continue with a pair of huge semi-final games at 8:30pm.

The first match will see A league power KM Ltd take the field with a chance to make it to their league championship next week.

The second match sees the CML Hammerheads take on PWC Experience with a shot at the B league title on the line.

KM Ltd are fresh off an impressive 18-7 win over Coolers on Monday night. Their bats set the tone early and steadied the side. Tonight the squad will look for more of the same.

In the other game PWC are riding high after a huge upset over regular season Banana Orchid division champion Maples Sluggers.

The Sluggers had a good showing with the bats, posting 11 runs but could not keep PWC off the scoreboard. The result is the side gave the Maples D an experience with 25 runs.

CML meanwhile are fresh off a rollercoaster win over the dangerous KPMG Bounty Hunters 14-12. The Hammerheads did not have their best game in many aspects but escaped with the victory courtesy of extra inning heroics.

KPMG had CML dead to rights through the first six innings and seemed to have the game all wrapped up with a four run lead heading into the bottom of the seventh. But CML rallied back in a big way with clutch hits and alert base-running to tie it up and send the game to extras.
