Grace Christian Academy will host its first graduation ceremony to celebrate the academic success of its senior high school students on 23 June at the Wesleyan Holiness Church in West Bay at 7:00pm.
Parents, friends and the general public are welcome to attend the graduation ceremony in support of the senior students whose years of hard work and dedication have brought them to this coveted milestone in their academic lives.
This first graduating class of students is of particular significance to Grace Christian Academy since hurricane Ivan in 2004 left the school devastated and unable to continue with classes for the 2004 – 2005 school year. Since that time the school facilities have undergone major restructuring guided by a very dedicated restoration committee.
The Grace Christian Academy graduating class of 2009 comprises Joshua Zimmer (son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Zimmer), Justin Spencer (son of Ms. Stephanie Barkinge), Travis McLaughlin (son of Ms. Laura McLaughlin and Mr. Errol Mc Laughlin) and Trecika Vernon (daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenroy Vernon). These students’ achievements are seen not as an end but a new beginning as they prepare to move on to institutions of higher learning.
Primarily self-funded, the Grace Christian Academy is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. It is located at 21 Crescent Close (off Boltins Ave) P.O. Box 31930, West Bay KY-1-1208 Grand Cayman. Please call 345-945-0899, email [email protected] or visit the website at www.gca.ky.
