Young Scholar given leadership experience

Kerri-Anne Chisholm, a recent high school graduate from Triple C School, joined other high-achieving students from around the world this summer to participate in the Global Young Leaders Conference, a unique leadership development Conference held in Europe.

The Conference themed ‘The Leaders of Tomorrow Preparing for the Global Challenges and Responsibilities of the Future’ enabled students to interact with key leaders and newsmakers. The event was organised by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council and offered students a curriculum designed to explore cultural differences and develop decision-making and leadership skills.

The conference itinerary took Kerri-Anne to the capital cities of Austria, Hungary and the Czech Republic. Kerri-Anne hailed the trip as an unforgettable educational experience. ‘I have returned home so much more mature as a result of this remarkable experience and exposure,’ she said.

Her participation was in part made possible through a donation by Cayman National. ‘We were thrilled to have a part in affording this unique opportunity to another one of our brilliant young ladies, and congratulate her on her accomplishments and wish her the very best for her future dreams and plans’, said Cayman National’s Corporate Communications Senior Executive, Claudia Welds.
