Crawlers raced to the finish line to win a basket of Huggies merchandise in the Huggies Diaper Derby.

The expo is free to attend and will feature one-stop shopping for the latest products, services and information for families. The Yeah Baby Family Expo grants businesses the opportunity to showcase the goods they have on offer and the event will provide all-day entertainment featuring activities and events that promote an interactive family experience.

Phil Vinciullo, dms Broadcasting’s network promotions and marketing manager said, ‘Last year marked Cayman’s first-ever Yeah Baby Family Expo and for a first-time event, the turnout exceeded expectations.’

He continued, ‘Over 2,500 residents passed through the doors and partook in a day of family fun – this year we are looking to double that number.’

Gina Peck, a representative for Huggies said, ‘We are thrilled to partner again with dms Broadcasting and anticipate this year being an even huger success. It is right up our alley to participant in an event that promotes family interaction and we very much look forward to seeing lots of familiar faces out there to join in the fun.’

There will be over 20 exhibitors on site showcasing their products to families and will be offering a wide selection of samples and free merchandise.

All four dms Broadcasting stations will be present guiding the activities, and activities that will be featured on the day include the Huggies Diaper Derby and the Gerber Baby Boogie contest.

The Public Library will be conducting story-telling sessions which will feature classics and local favourites. The National Trust and the National Gallery will deliver an interactive experience with various activities for the entire family.

Mr. Vinciullo said, ‘What is unique about this event is that it offers fun for the entire family. Free to attend, this expo encourages the entire family to come out and have some fun – there is entertainment for all ages. We are thrilled to have Huggies back on board with us in this collaborative effort to bring smiles to the faces of the kids of Cayman.’

Dms Broadcasting’s Market Manger Bryan Hollenbaugh said, ‘The Huggies Yeah Baby Family Expo also offers businesses the ideal situation to interact face to face with highly-targeted consumers. There are still opportunities to get your business involved and showcase your products or services.’
