Students explore careers in the Aviation industry

Students from John Gray and Heritage High Schools were given a detailed insight into key aspects of The Cayman Islands Airports Authority work, recently. The eight pupils were briefed about Air Traffic Services, Meteorological Services, Security and Information Systems for two weeks during the Schools’ Annual Work Experience Programmes.

‘We are pleased we were able to showcase some of the career opportunities that are available in the aviation industry to these… young people who are about to… make important career choices,’ said the Authority’s Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy Jackson. He also ‘applauded the efforts of the Careers Officer, Mrs. Margaret Jackson, who worked tirelessly to co-ordinate placement of 700 students this year throughout the local workforce.’
