Bar patron robbed

A 30-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday on Bodden Road, George Town, after leaving a local bar.

The man had left the premises around 11.00pm and was approached by three men, one of whom was brandishing a firearm.

The offenders demanded cash and made off with an undisclosed amount of money. They left in the direction of North Church Street.

The victim was not hurt in the incident.

The robbery was not reported until the next day. Detectives from George Town Police Station are investigating the incident and would like to hear from anyone who was in the area that may have seen something.
