The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service has ended its searches for a 60-year-old missing diver along Grand Cayman’s north coast.
The man, identified as Charles Lynn Titus from Las Vegas, vanished earlier this week during a trip with Divers Down
A full search was conducted over several days by Department of Environment crews, commercial and private vessels and Cayman Islands Helicopters aircraft, as well as the marine unit. Employees from Dive Tech also conducted a deep dive Wednesday morning attempting to find the missing man.
Mr Titus, who was visiting the Cayman Islands went missing during a dive at Eagle Ray Pass, North Wall, just outside the Main Channel on Monday 21 September. A Family Liaison Officer has been assigned to his wife and the Department of Tourism is also assisting.
An investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department is ongoing into the man’s disappearance.
