Family members have identified the young man killed in a car crash in East End early Saturday as 20-year-old Reuben Forbes.
Reuben is the younger brother of Cayman’s Olympic hurdler Ronald Forbes.
Royal Cayman Islands Police officers said the wreck happened in East End, near Lover’s Wall.
RCIPS said a vehicle ran off the road in that area around 2am, injuring three passengers.
All three were transported to the George Town Hospital, where Reuben was pronounced dead. Another passenger was released from hospital Saturday. The third was still being treated and was listed in stable condition.
The accident marks the third road death to occur in the Cayman Islands this year.
